Job description
- Act as a Metrology Resource with a calibration background to support SOPs and SOP generation
- Design QC processes, including selecting machinery and automation levels such as Cmm, laser scanning system, vision control system, and manual equipment
- Build strong business cases along with development or improvement concepts
- Develop expertise in electrical and pneumatic instrumentation, including control system interfaces
- Define, develop, and implement Quality Engineering strategies that contribute to the campus strategic directions
- Develop and maintain QA plans and timelines for global new product introductions using Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization
- Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes through inspection aids and instruction guidelines
- Develop systems for document storage, access, and review related to global customer accounts
- Review all supplies, internal, and customer discrepancies, and coordinate and track the effectiveness of corrective\/proactive action efforts
- Conduct regular review and maintenance of all documentation files
- Address all supplier or customer discrepancies
- Participate in vendor survey activities as needed.
