Job description
The Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation (BRPF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for paralysis through funding the latest in medical research and to provide assistance to those that suffer from spinal cord injuries. Relying heavily on fundraising to sustain our mission, the BRPF is seeking a Director of Development to help lead our efforts. Established in 2001, the Foundation is ready to expand its philanthropic support with the help of a new Director of Development. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Position Overview: The position develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive fundraising plan to expand philanthropic support of the organization including identifying and strengthening relationships with community stakeholders, actively pursuing and managing corporate and individual leads, fostering strong donor and sponsor stewardship, seeking and managing grant funding. Additionally, this position plans and produces all events associated with the BRPF. The successful candidate will work closely with the President of the Foundation and the Board of Directors to develop and support fundraising strategies.
