What's the role?

As the Salon Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our salon's success, shaping the experience for our valued guests, driving business growth, and nurturing our talented team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our customers feel at home, delight in our services, and trust in the expertise of our team. Additionally, you'll play a crucial part in creating the optimal space for our team to thrive, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment where creativity flourishes and professional growth is encouraged. Responsibilities include:

- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily salon operations to ensure a seamless and welcoming environment for clients and team members.

- Scheduling and Front of House Management: Maintain a seamless seven-day salon schedule with the Salon Manager present for a minimum of 40 hours across five days, including opening and closing shifts. Proficiency in our booking software and dedication to our 4P's - Power Booking, Price Double-Checking, Pre-Booking, and Product Sales - are essential for business optimization.

- Recruitment, Hiring, Talent Development, and Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and train talent, prioritizing team wellbeing, fostering retention, and leading stylists, colorists, and support staff to cultivate a positive work culture and empower team members.

- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional service standards, handling complaints graciously, and seeking feedback for continuous improvement.

- Inventory and Equipment Management: Ensure seamless salon operations by overseeing inventory to meet team requirements and performing equipment maintenance for optimal functionality.

- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, expenses, payroll, and staff records to ensure accuracy and profitability.

- Business Growth: Formulate dynamic strategies to propel business expansion, exploring novel revenue avenues, pioneering service enhancements, and attracting a diverse clientele base.

- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators and prepare reports to assess salon performance and identify areas for improvement and opportunity.

- Marketing: Lead and orchestrate marketing endeavors, encompassing promotions, collaborations, social media, content creation, influencer partnerships, and VIP bookings, ensuring robust customer engagement activities.

- Vendor Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors to enhance salon offerings and optimize resources.

- Communication with Headquarters: Collaborate with headquarters in the Netherlands on strategic initiatives to align with company goals and leverage support resources.

Compensation:

- Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, with additional bonus potential.
