Job description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper / Handyman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and performing various handyman tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Plant, water, and fertilize trees and spray weeds daily.
Hauling trash
Perform routine maintenance of irrigation systems.
Remove weeds, debris, and other hazards from walkways, parking lot, and outdoor areas.
Monitor and report any issues related to pests or damage to plants.
Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks on building, equipment, and fixtures.
Repair or replace damaged doors, windows, locks, and hardware.
Paint/stain surfaces as needed and perform general carpentry work.
Wood and metal fabrication when necessary
Operate small utility tractor for tilling and planting.
Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred.
Basic knowledge of horticulture practices and landscaping techniques.
Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, blades, chainsaw, and tillage equipment.
Previous experience/ knowledge in mixing weed spray chemicals.
Knowledge of basic welding, light fabrication, and carpentry principles.
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must own pickup truck, one will NOT be provided.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Full-time or Part-time position available
