Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, take accurate food and drink orders, and deliver meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide detailed menu knowledge and answer any customer questions
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure the order is complete and accurate before serving it to the customer
- Remove dirty dishes and glasses from tables
- Prepare bills and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Attentiveness and ability to anticipate customer needs
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle difficult customers with patience and professionalism
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
