• Improve the operational systems and processes in support of organizational goals
• Ensure that program milestones and delivery dates are adhered to
• Ensure Company and Customer quality standards are met
• Facilitate Lean events with goals to improve productivity and efficiency
• Assist with the development of individual program budgets
• Manage labor costs and expenses
• Promote a positive working relationship with Customers
• Develop production floor design by examining and understanding product flow and space requirements
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing proper safety procedures

The Operations Manager, plays a leading role in developing the culture of the organization both inside and outside of Operations. Responsible for providing overall leadership to the operations function, with responsibility for: strategy development and implementation; operating plans and budgets; policies and procedures; staff assessment and development; performance measurement and governance; and communications with other business units and senior management. Partner with functional leads across the organization to plan for current and future demand.

Skills: Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes. Solid knowledge of LEAN principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience with conflict resolution.
