Job description

Urban Prairie Coffee in Mission, KS is looking for a barista to join our team. We are located on 5606 Johnson Drive. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, hard-working, and reliable.

Pay typically starts at $9 per hour plus tips, and tip pool typically ranges from $8 - $10 per hour, putting total around $17 - $19 per hour. Weekend shifts also receive an additional $3 per hour, making weekend total around $20 - $22 per hour. Hired candidate will also be eligible for raises and bonuses based on demonstrated exceptional performance on the job and the overall performance of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold drinks and food in accordance with customer needs
• Interact regularly with customers ensuring a positive experience
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Use point of sale system to ring up customers
