Job description
The Crisis Diversion Home provides recovery-oriented temporary transitional housing for up to 5 individuals, up to 30 days, within a 24-hour supervised environment. In this facility, two staff members are always on site to provide therapeutic and social support to consumers in crisis referred from Crisis Receiving Stabilization Centers and Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams. A Program Director is currently needed to oversee operations to ensure all program initiatives are being met. Responsibilities:
The duties of the Program Director shall minimally include:
- Program Administration
- Staff supervision and scheduling
- Inter-agency coordination
- Program development and implementation
- Staff development and/or training and clinical supervision
- Facility Management
- Quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Individual, group, and family counseling
- Crisis intervention counseling
- Ensure completion of the comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing nursing assessments by appropriately licensed and credentialed staff.
- Explanation to consumer residents of their rights and procedures in the event they are removed or discharged from the residence.
- Clinical support for staff 24 hours a day.
- Must be able to arrive on-site to provide crisis intervention counseling and/or staff coverage in the event of an emergency.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health discipline. Life experience preferred.
Schedule:
- Full-time; some evening hours, on-call beeper
