Additional requirements :

 

Preference will be given to applicants with at least one (1) year of experience answering and directing telephone calls.

 

This is a part-time position paying $18.48 per hour at 20 hours per week.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle. 

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment. 

 

Responses to qualifying questions must be clearly supported by the state application and any omission, falsification, or misrepresentation in the answering of the qualifying questions will be cause for immediate elimination from the selection process. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Provide overall administrative and logistical administrative support to the Regulatory Licensing Manager and the Regulatory Licensing Section personnel. Assist with data entry of incoming applications. Receive incoming telephone calls on multi-line communications system and direct telephone calls to appropriate personnel. Greet walk-in customers and office personnel. Generate correspondences, emails, invoices, and certificates. Organize office supplies and file cabinets. Receive, open, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail. Assist the Regulatory Licensing Manager with incoming and open investigatory reports. Assist the Regulatory Licensing Manager with organizing and processing complaints. Assist citizens and certified individuals with applicable Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code Rules by providing basic information and routing appropriate calls to appropriate personnel. Other duties as assigned.
