Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, and building systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on machines and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts and troubleshoot problems with machinery
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments
• Assist with installation of new machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including wiring, motors, and switches
• Repair and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water and gas lines
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with electrical and electronic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces
