Looking for experienced CWI to lead inspection team.
Day shift, $45-$55/hour!

Description:
family-owned fabrication shop that produces various steel products for a range of industries. Right now they have a large contract with a solar panel production company to make conveyor structures for the panels to ride and be treated on. These structures are large in size up to 50 feet per section and up to 300 feet in total length. They need a welding inspector to inspect all of the welds/fabrications in the shop to ensure accuracy to the drawings. This will be a 100% inspection job with half their time on the computer, and the other half inspecting on the floor. No production fabricating at all.
Inspect welds for correct size and workmanship. Must be able to read shop drawings and weld symbols. Knowledge of welder workmanship and/or best practices is a plus. Must be able to evaluate completed welds for acceptance. Current CWI highly preferred or 5+ years of related experience.
Day shift: 6am - 2:30pm M-F

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experienced in blueprint reading and layout, along with inspecting welds. NOT looking for a CWI. Welding experience required. Experience using calipers, weld gauges, micrometers, etc. 10+ years as a welding inspector preferred.
