LaSalle Network has partnered with a thriving organization located in the heart of Oak Park, IL. With a dynamic team, emphasis on work life balance and commitment to excellence, they are seeking a skilled Part-Time Accountant to join their finance department.

Are you an Accounting Professional seeking flexibility in your work schedule? Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Accountant to support their financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts and assisting in financial reporting tasks.

Part-Time Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements on a regular basis
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and annual statements
• Provide support during audits and tax filing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support as needed

Part-Time Accountant Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations and compliance requirements
