Job description
Top AmLaw200 law firm is looking for an Applications Development Manager with at least 5 years of leadership, mentoring, code reviews and document processing and management experience in a global multi-office law firm environment. Ideal candidate will have experience with MS 365, .NET, Azure, Kanban, Git, Mongo and/or Cassandra and Enterprise Search. Located in DTLA office. Hybrid role; 6 days in office per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers and developers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the latest technologies and trends in software development.
- Ensure team members are well-trained and following best practices.
- Delegate tasks and oversee deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance and mentorship.
- Utilize Agile methodology to develop and manage projects.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
- Train, supervise, and guide team members in software development.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of .NET, Microsoft 365, Azure, and GIT.
- Experience leading and managing teams and projects.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Knowledge of legal, law firm, and document processing requirements a plus.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Cassandra, a plus.
- Experience with enterprise search, document management, and cloud development a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and lead code reviews a plus.
