Job description

App Telecom Architect, Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities: Software Design and Development of prototypes and tools that crosses the full stack - from UI, DevOps, Backend, Data Services, etc. Partner with product owners on shaping and defining business capabilities. Ability to be assigned a problem and take ownership with minimal guidance. Highly motivated self-learner. Mentor a team

of direct engineers responsible for delivering projects that enable new features and functionality. Technical mastery of application development and systems integration. Self-driven technical and business analysis. Maintain up to date with technical advances in the mobile app development environment.

Qualifications: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATICS, OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 3 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

Special Requirements:  

REQUIRED EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF: 

  1. Experience in mobile application software pattern and software design
  2. Knowledge in of SDLC processes and helping extend SDLC
  3. Experience collaborating with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  4. Knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  5. Experience with Agile and Scrum, and Agile and Scrum related tools
  6. Experience doing rapid technical troubleshooting
  7. Knowledge of mobile app stack, and the supporting infrastructure
  8. Experience in technical mentorship

SALARY OFFERED: $149,136 – $160,000 per year

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $149,136 - $160,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, and company paid holidays.  The specific programs available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
