Job description

VBFA seeks Senior Engineer in Tempe, AZ. Attends HVAC/MEP training; Cooling/heating load calculation; Mechanical HVAC design and equipment selection for healthcare, hospitality, commercial, educational and industrial projects; Computer-Aided Design and Drafting using AutoCAD and REVIT MEP; meetings with clients; Site inspection/on-site training; Project Management; Specialty HVAC systems design involving boilers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers and energy recovery systems; Construction Administration; Specifications generation; Liaison with overseas teams; Project kick off meetings; Department of Energy Compliance Checks of HVAC equipment; Personnel training; HVAC airflow and piping schematics modeling and visualization; and Medical Gas drawings and calculations. Requires: Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field and 4 years of mechanical engineering experience. Specific skills/other requirements – Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Plumbing piping design, sizing, routing & tagging, Cooling/heating load calculation, Mechanical HVAC design for healthcare, hospitality, commercial, educational & industrial projects, Airflow ductwork sizing, routing, tagging, Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, Ability to get Professional Engineering license within a year Apply by sending resume to [email protected] and refer to this ad in cover letter.
