(Physician/MD qualifications required) Orthopedic Surgery (Total Joint) - This regional medical center, 70 miles east of Nashville, is seeking a board certified|board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon, preferably with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction. The medical center is a city owned nonprofit hospital with a 350,000-catchment area. Full service busy community hospital with expansive services and extremely large catchment of 14 Counties.

Practice Includes General Orthopedics, Sports Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Neurosurgery,Anesthesia Pain, Surgical Podiatry
Adding Neurology and Ortho Hand & Upper Extremity
Physical therapy owned and operated by practice (4.5 FTEs)
X-ray & MRI services, DME, U-arm owned & available in Clinic
Clinic only 3 minutes from hospital
30 day wait for new appointments
100-130 clinic visits per week
Extremely supportive clinic staff
40 50+ cases per month (between Hospital and ASC)
Very low Medicaid payer base, 35% Blue Cross, 40% Medicare
Full operating room capabilities
30-bed ICU equipped with the latest technology
12 OR suites-6 fully integrated, 2 state of art cardiovascular, enhanced vascular lab

The medical center is a 247-bed regional referral center, servicing more than 350,000 residents in the region. With over 200 physicians in 40 different medical and surgical specialties, the hospital offers patients the same kind of care they can expect in a larger metropolitan area including specialty services that include cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac and thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, pulmonology, cancer treatment, orthopedics, physical rehabilitation and neurosurgery.
