Job description
WPSD Local 6, has an opening in the Creative Services Department for a commercial/promotions producer. Experience in marketing or video production is preferred, while being creative and familiarity with making effective videos is required. This position will work directly with both local/regional advertising clients and the award winning WPSD news team producing promotions across all WPSD platforms.
You will work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with limitless opportunities to expand your creativity while strengthening the team within the top-rated NBC affiliate serving four states!
Your skills will have the support of the latest suite of software as well as the entire WPSD team! This opportunity will put your skills to the test every day producing promotional announcements for WPSD and thousands of local/regional clients.
What we look for is a self-motivated applicant with a positive team attitude. Formal education or military-based experience in video editing is preferred but not required if you're a perfect fit for the team! If you have experience in Adobe product suite or similar, this will be a perfect position for you.
Be organized, value teamwork, and have a semi-flexible schedule to fit the needs of productions. Basic mechanical skills for working with equipment will work to your advantage. Some daytime travel is required (in a WPSD vehicle) and will only increase your chances to expand your creative thoughts to make your productions come to life and ensure your success.
