A not-for-profit community hospital in central Connecticut that continues to be the leading health provider for those who live and work in the area is adding a day-shift Hospitalist. The hospital has earned national recognition for its commitment to providing outstanding patient care. 

About the Opportunity:

• Join a collegial and collaborative team of providers who are dedicated to the hospital’s goal of being one of the best community hospitals in Connecticut.
• The Hospitalist service provides 24/7/365 inpatient hospital coverage for all patients admitted to the medical and surgical floors.
• 169-bed non-profit hospital
• 12-hour day shifts with a block schedule of 7 on/7 off
• Average of 16–18 patients per day plus 2 admissions
• Staffed with 2 physicians and 2 APRNs per shift
• Open ICU. No procedures
• Pulmonologists do vents
