Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Sales Enablement - Automation, plays a key role in supporting the growth of Disney Advertising Automation Products. This role will identify opportunities for Automation to launch, and improve utilization of current toolsets, to drive additional revenue or support operational efficiencies. This critical role is the Automation contact for Ad Platforms and across the entire Disney Advertising Organization. The individual will report to the Director, Audience & Automation. This individual’s responsibility includes, but are not limited to:
1. Manage and support the product development with Ad Platforms related to Programmatic and Automation solutions for the Disney Ad Sales organization:
Produce innovative business requirements that will drive more revenue or improve workflow based on our advertising sales and product expertise
Responsible for documenting product scoping with Ad Sales teams (e.g. RYM, Ops, Forecasting). Translate scoping into product requirements and business opportunities for intake
Manage, communicate, support prioritization and track business intake items with Ad Platforms
2. Be a subject matter expert in the Disney Ad Sales Business, toolsets, processes, and workflows and have a strong relationship with our internal stakeholders
Maintain a strong relationship with all internal ad sales teams and Ad Platforms
Lead and negotiate business agreements with 3rd Parties
Support Product Marketing in developing positioning and materials for marketplace or sales. Develop materials for Training and Development for internal users
3. Be passionate and driven about everything Automation can do for a sales organization
Be an advocate for best practices and capabilities to improve workflows, sales channel friction and communications
Be current on features and functionality on the Automation Roadmap(s)
Primary internal programmatic expert for the sales team who can provide insights and knowledge to inform internal stakeholders of all levels as needed.
Provide additional enablement end to end support and management of other automation initiatives beyond programmatic.
4. Provide executive leadership updates across all enablement initiatives within Disney Advertising.
Manage, design and maintain updates on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Ability to communicate and prioritize updates for leadership
Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Align on business strategy and opportunities for product with ad sales partners and communicates to stakeholders (e.g. ad platforms)
Manage, communicate, support prioritization and track business intake items with Ad Platforms. Produce innovative business requirements that will drive more revenue or improve workflow based on our advertising sales and product expertise
Prepare the sales organization to adapt to new workflow and processes throughout the unification and convergence ad sales technology
Work with business stakeholders to prepare for new product releases or large, complex system migrations with communication and training
Required Experience/Skills/Training:
8+ years in a product management, vendor management or planning role and 7+ years combined business and online digital experience
A solid understanding of Digital businesses and media markets/business models
Thorough understanding of self-service toolsets and automation related technologies
Prior experience integrating internal work and resources with outside vendors/partners
Proven track record of managing business needs against technology requirements
Demonstrated ability to take concepts from definition to development and launch
Experience with managing enterprise software, infrastructure services and/or software as a service offerings
Fluent in both “business” and “technology” styles of communication with the effective ability to translate and communicate between the two.
Experience creating and communicating product roadmaps and written product requests on behalf of the business
Ability to anticipate, identify and articulate the impact of emerging industry trends on the business
Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and problem solving communication skills
Experience working and leading cross functional teams in matrix environment
Excellent relationship management and negotiating skills
Passion for understanding and serving the unique Disney community
Experience with Project Management tooling (SmartSheets, Confluence, Airtable etc)
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Advertising, Product Development, Computer Science or related field preferred

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY and Seattle, WA is $151,800 to $189,700 per year and in Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, IL is $148,200 to $181,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
