Salary range for position: $115,000 - $145,000, commensurate with experience.

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position strives to improve the yield of MEMS inkjet products by focusing on enhancing process control, eliminating defects and strengthening quality control. Daily goals are to initiate and support production yield and quality improvement by utilizing data gathering/interpretation, data visualization and defect analysis. A quality engineer will support the development of next generation MEMS devices; provide technical support and guidance for process sustaining and development activities, and participate in ensuring ISO compliance.

 

KNOWLEDGE: Having wide ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

 

JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.

 

SUPERVISION: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Be able to work self-directed.

 

EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
