Why you’ll love this position:

Within the Division of Learning Services, the Office of Data System Management is responsible for the development and implementation of the Missouri Comprehensive Data System (MCDS) which will include the student-level record system. Core Data and the Missouri Student Information System Core Data/MOSIS, a web-based data collection system of education-related statistics; and Grants & Planning, an instrument provided to schools to assist with federal grant applications and program planning.

• Communicate with School District Personnel and Department Staff by telephone and/or email.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries in the Core Data/MOSIS inbox.
• Monitor and review Local Education Agency data submissions and statewide trial status in a timely manner.
• Process LEA attendance center requests and coordinate committee review meetings.
• Coordinate with OA-IT on resolution of tickets submitted for data collection systems.
• Test and verify application updates for Core Data collection system.
• Responsible for listserv communications.
• Create training/webinars/written guidance for the Core Data/MOSIS collection systems.
• Conduct presentations related to the Core Data/MOSIS collection systems.
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Communications, or other closely related field.

OR

• 4 years of experience with data reporting, data management, data quality, and communicating orally and in writing with internal and external customers, and the possession of a high school diploma or equivalency.
