Job description

Stephens Natural Resources, LLC (the “Company”) is a The Woodlands, Texas-based independent, privately owned oil and natural gas exploration and production company with its principal properties located in the Gulf of Mexico, Bakken & Three Forks area of North Dakota, and the Scoop/Stack & Arkoma areas in Oklahoma. The Company possesses additional leasehold rights in the Permian Basin, Haynesville, and Eagle Ford areas of Texas. The Company’s focused strategy is to develop its assets in an environmentally responsible manner, while generating sustainable cash flow, improving margins, increasing operating efficiencies, and returning capital distributions to the family shareholders. To accomplish its primary objectives, the Company allocates capital investments to projects that it believes offer the highest rate of return to the family shareholders while attempting to ensure a sustained rate of return of 30% utilizing the deployment of industry - leading drilling and completion techniques and technologies in the Company’s development efforts.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will report to the General Counsel. This individual will be responsible for managing the existing relationships with Stephens’ third-party providers to deliver Human Resources and Payroll services to an organization of approximately 35 employees located in multiple states, but principally in The Woodlands office. This role will liaison between the employees, management and the third-party providers.

Work Environment:

 

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanning devices/fax machines, along with equipment necessary to design, draw, and execute plans.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand, as necessary. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

 

This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of work will vary due to workload and needs of the Company. It is expected that the candidate will work in the office. However, flexible hours and/or remote work may be approved on a case-by-case basis. The presently existing work schedule is a 9/4 work week (being 9-hours Monday through Thursday and 4-hours on Friday morning).


Travel:

 

It is not anticipated that this position will require travel.
