Position Summary/Description:

MEDICAL STUDENT EDUCATION IS HIRING TWO ADMIN SUPPORT SPECIALISTS (20033751 & 20062073). BY APPLYING TO THIS POSTING YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR BOTH POSITIONS . This position will provide services of direct benefit to students and their education. The position will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support and project management duties for the Deans and Senior Directors in the Offices of Medical Student Education ( OMSE ). This position will have constant interaction with a variety of faculty, administrators, staff, and students. This position will be primarily responsible for the complex calendar management of the Medical Student Education Deans and Senior Directors, including scheduling and confirming meetings, conferences and appointments, preparing and distributing information, arranging travel, and ensuring technology to support video and teleconference needs are met. This position will have primary responsibility for preparing and providing follow-up for the School of Medicine's leadership committees, which govern the MD curriculum and program. This position will supervise team of executive assistants to support the leadership of OMSE . The individual in this position must operate with a high degree of discretion and professionalism, and will be entrusted with sensitive student and curriculum information. The importance of this individual's role is crucial to the academic and administrative needs of the Offices of Medical Student Education.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
