Job description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Carpenters for projects located in and around Fall River, MA . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $25/hour based on experience plus $120/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Frame, Build, Assemble the Wooden Frame of the Vessel
Shaping and Putting Together the Ribs and Keel
Attach the Planks to the Frame to Form the Hull
Precise Cutting and Fitting to Ensure Watertight Integrity
Construct and Install Decks of the Vessel
Lay Down Deck Planking and Secure to Frame
Construct Cabin and other Super Structures on the Deck, including Sleeping Quarters, Galley and Navigation Areas
Build and Fit out the Vessels Interior, including Bulkheads, Seating Storage Compartments and Intricate Joinery Work
Painting, Varnishing, Applying Protective Coatings
Other Tasks as Assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 Years of Marine Carpentry Experience
Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints
