Job description
Rotating Days ~40 hours a week As a Barn Manager, understanding the well being of the horses and their daily needs is essential. Duties include feeding, working horses, watering, seasonal blanketing/fly spray, cleaning stalls and being aware of any changes in the horses behavior or medical issues that need to be addressed. This position will include grooming and cleaning stalls as well as oversight of the general barn maintenance and upkeep, placing weekly feed orders, managing vert appointments, farrier, and keeping up with the cleanliness the facilities.
NO INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES PLEASE.
Must enjoy working with children. Our facility is a private barn (no boarders), but our 5 children enjoy assisting in daily duties, asking questions, and entertaining the team. There are dogs on site and experience with young horses and stallions would be ideal.
