QA Inspector I (H3) - 1st Shift

Job description
We are looking for entry level QA Inspector to join our team!
This individual conducts independent inspection functions to verify product conforms to specifications. The QA Inspector must be highly detailed, have good communication (oral and written), and good computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Performs and documents a wide variety of inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures during the manufacturing process.
- Collects samples, components, and finished products as needed.
- Releases and issuances of labels.
- Performs line clearance to remove all previous products, components, and foreign materials.
- Inspects and checks in-process and final products according to written procedures and specifications.
- Reviews documentation to assure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintains all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follows/enforces that everyone adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED, two years of a college education is a plus, and/or 1-2 years of work related experience.
- Functional working knowledge of cGMPs.
- Solid basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Communication Skills (Oral/Written) - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations, including ability to follow instructions. Bilingual in Vietnamese a plus.
- Computer Skills (Beginner to Intermediate level) Must be proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Detail Oriented - pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, double checking their work.
