Senior Star is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor!

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the pristine condition of our Senior Star communities, overseeing the housekeeping team to ensure all assigned areas are kept clean and safe for our residents. This role is essential in creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Housekeeping Staff: Manage scheduling, delegate tasks, and ensure the high-quality completion of duties including cleaning resident apartments, common areas, administrative offices, and more.
• Supply Management: Order and maintain housekeeping supplies within budget, ensure safe storage, and train staff on the safe use of chemicals and supplies.
• Resident Assistance: Engage with residents to outline cleaning policies, respond to concerns, and ensure their living environment is up to standard, including personal laundry services if requested.
• Team Management: Recruit, screen, interview, and train a motivated housekeeping team, ensuring they are capable of providing exceptional service to our residents.

What We Require:

• Prior experience in housekeeping.
• Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of personnel development and proper cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow directions.
• Commitment to confidentiality and a strong desire to enhance the lives of seniors.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred.
