Aptive is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for quickly understanding the current state of issue and risk management processes, operationalizing future-state solutions, and actively participating in the development of operational documentation related to the establishment of tiered hubs to support the EHRM End-to-End Issue Management processes. For each of the tiered hubs that are being stood up, each will require a Project Manager to support the Team Lead in ensuring progress of action items. As part of this, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating with key stakeholders, ensuring effective project management, and enhancing our client’s ability to manage issues and risks efficiently and effectively.

• Quickly familiarize yourself with the work completed to-date related to the EHRM End-to-End Issue Management Integrated Project Team (IPT). The purpose of the IPT is to bring together a VA-wide multi-disciplinary effort to map a “to be” end-to-end VA process for EHRM risks and issues management and to synchronize tracking tools & transparency to be used for issue governance and management implementation throughout the VA.
• Support the implementation of different tiered hubs to support the future-state issue management processes.
• Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress to ensure the timely and successful rollout of hub(s).
• Proactively manage risks and issues related to the project.
• Create agendas and presentations for meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including executive level audience.
• Prepare comprehensive meeting summaries, capturing action items, decisions, and next steps.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to develop and drive key operational documentation, including but not limited to Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), Concept of Operations, Business Rules, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather their input, address concerns, and ensure alignment with the future-state process.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Department of Veteran Affairs experience
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• 8 years relevant experience required
• At least 2 years consulting experience
• Proven experience in process design, project management, or similar roles
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work and thrive in ambiguous work environments
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• Experience supporting EHRM projects
• Knowledge of military and Veteran populations
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others
• Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally
• Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
• Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail

EHRM is a major executive program office in the Office of Health Informatics (OHI). This office reports to the Chief Informatics Officer (CIO) for VHA and supports a high reliability, learning health organization. Its mission is to improve the Veterans experience and provide health care staff with information and solutions for better decision workflows. OHI directs the coordinating efforts of the VHA EHRM Decision Support Team, facilitates the work of the VHA EHRM Interdisciplinary Decision-Making Group, and integrates the work of the VHA EHRM National Councils into VHA’s overall coordinated execution of EHRM efforts.
