Healdsburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial and accounting operations. As a Controller, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial health of the dealership. Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Oversight:
- Oversee all financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure the dealership's financial practices align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Accounting Management:
- Supervise and manage the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
* Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Prepare financial forecasts and proactively identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
* Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide key insights to the executive team.
* Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the dealership's assets and prevent fraud or financial mismanagement.
- Conduct regular financial audits and internal reviews.
* Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and other statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and government agencies as needed.
* Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Controller in an automotive dealership or a similar industry.
- Strong financial and accounting acumen, including a deep understanding of financial statements, tax laws, and financial software systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Proficiency in financial and accounting software and tools.
