Director of Marketing and Communications

Locally owned Northern Kentucky restaurant group is excited to continue their expansion into new cities and is seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Director of Marketing and Communications to join their growing team.

Skills :
• Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage resources for communication initiatives.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms and strategies.
• Experience in developing and executing content marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with performance marketing techniques to drive measurable results.
• Knowledge of sales principles to support marketing efforts.
• Excellent writing skills for creating compelling messages across various channels.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and strategies.
• Ability to be both highly strategic and distill data into meaningful recommendations and deliverables.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.

Responsibilities :
• Directly responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the marketing team and with key accounts.
• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance and complement our company's brand and reputation.
• Oversee the creation and execution of all marketing and communication materials, including print advertising, email marketing campaigns, and content marketing initiatives.
• Manage our brands' social media presences and develop strategies to increase engagement and followers.
• Create compelling content that drives awareness and measurable interaction via a multi-channel plan.
• Collaborate with our established, cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and clear messaging.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in order to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Manage the communications budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead concept openings and develop marketing plans and campaigns.
• Oversee the development of location specific marketing plans to enhance our company's local presence via community outreach, local events, etc.
• Perform special assignments and provide committee representation when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Some travel required

Education and Experience :
• 5-8 years of marketing and/or advertising experience with a focus on developing and executing marketing strategies, including branding, digital and print advertising, search engine marketing, email marketing, website design and social media marketing.
• Computer competency required.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000
