QUALIFICATIONS
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JOB COACH - EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST
In this position, you provide individuals with the resources and guidance they need to find meaningful employment. You develop positive relationships with participants and support them in meeting their short- and long-term goals. As you meet with clients, you conduct intakes and get a feel for each person's professional talents, interests, and weak areas.
You help create service plans and recommend ways participants can overcome their barriers. This may involve requesting extra resources for transportation, childcare, or educational needs. You encourage participants to take advantage of the available support, and you document their progress as they seek employment. You love witnessing incredible transformations and helping others achieve their career goals!
