About Flexible Staffing Studio
Flexible Staffing Studio is a Hiring Platform that helps connect top Engineers in Emerging Technologies such as Aerospace, VR, AR, Machine Learning, Robotics, and R&D. Our goal is to help you find the perfect position for your next project.
We are looking for TWO LabView Developers; one for a 12-month+ on-site contract and one for a 2 month contract. BOTH must be on-site in Kent, WA; with an option to extend.
DESCRIPTION: Seeking a Senior LabView Developer. As part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of various spaceflight avionics testing systems. This is a hands-on position that will involve you in all aspects of engineering, design, fabrication, installation, and testing. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
This is not a remote position. You must be willing to work in Kent, WA as needed to directly access the system hardware.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Software Leadership and Service inclusive of the following:
- Have a LabViEW Software Architectural design experience.
- 6+ Years Software Development Experience
- Experience with NI DAQ, cRIO, NI PXIe hardware
- Complete Software architecture and design
- Follow applicable LabViEW Coding standards.
- Follow applicable development practices
- Develop Detailed LabViEW SW Design Specifications to meet or exceed Project Requirements
- Share best practices in connection with the Services
- Suggest process improvements related to software development/management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- B.S. degree or higher in Software / Electrical Engineering or an appropriate engineering field
- 6+ Years Software Development Experience
- Experience with GIT
- Experience with NI DAQ, cRIO, NI PXIe hardware
- Work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment
- Apply a get-it-done and get-it-done-right mindset coupled with attention to detail
- Apply proactive and reactive problem-solving skills.
- Be a self-starter.
- Communicate technical results, plans, and issues with internal and external customers.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical / Software Engineering or an appropriate engineering field
- Experience with aerospace design and manufacturing standards
- Experience with launch vehicle or spacecraft software and electrical systems
