Grand Peak Academy is seeking a Reading Interventionist for the 2024-2025 school year! This individual will join a committed team of educators to strengthen the foundation of an extraordinary school. In their daily practice, the GPA Reading Interventionist will develop and implement a program addressing the support needs of students leveraging data and evidence-based teaching practices.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
● Follow all rules, policies and procedures of Grand Peak Academy along with state and federal regulations pertaining to school issues and IDEA.
● Work with individual or small groups of students who are at-risk in reading to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring.
● Instruct Interventionists to implement small group/individual Reading instruction, progress monitoring, and other activities related to Reading support.
● Work with school personnel in the Multi-tiered System of Support/Response to Intervention (MTSS-RTI) process by assisting in determining Read Plans, Intervention Plans and Individualized Education Program services.
● Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
● Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses.
● Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during interventions.
● Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Principal or Designee.
Qualifications
● Demonstrated success in growing struggling learners
● Must have a Colorado State license or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a passing score on the Praxis or PLACE exam in your area of concentration
(Elementary Education, Music, Technology, Physical Education etc) or must qualify under ESSA.
● Successfully complete a background check
Compensation

Salary Range: $50,141-$65,464
This position will be for the 2024-2025 school year
