A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CNC / MACHINE OPERATOR

n

As a CNC / Machine Operator, you have the important job of ensuring our machinery runs smoothly. Your CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) experience serves you well as you design program alterations using woodWOP software. Analyzing drawings, you verify dimensions and determine the configuration of cuts. You competently execute the machine setup, selecting the proper cutting tools, machine speed, and feed rate for each project. Utilizing tool path optimization features, you skillfully maximize production efficiency.

With quality and safety as your top priorities, you inspect the machinery and perform daily maintenance. You monitor routers during the manufacturing process and troubleshoot any complications that arise. Problem-solving comes naturally to you, and you have a knack for quickly identifying issues and performing necessary repairs. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CNC / MACHINE OPERATOR

• CNC / CAM experience
n

n

Experience with Stiles machinery would be a plus! Are you motivated and self-directed? Can you effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Do you take pride in the quality of your work? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position in the woodworking industry!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CNC / MACHINE OPERATOR

n

This position works the 1st shift from Monday - Thursday from 6 am - 4:30 pm , with opportunities for optional overtime .
