Sector Functional Cost Management (FCM) forecasts, analyzes and reports indirect expenses while monitoring the performance of overhead rates and discretionary spending. FCM is a well-rounded role that exposes an employee to the various facets of BAE Systems finance, cost management and functional leadership.
Ideally, this individual would be
based in Southern NH , and would work in a
hybrid format , splitting their time between our
10 Tara Blvd, Nashua, NH location , and remotely. However, for candidates with the ideal background and experience,
fully-remote work will be considered for this role
The responsibilities of this role include: - Senior Analyst responsible for complex reporting and analysis, Sector expense and budget consolidation
- Sector Functional Cost Business Partner to the Human Resources, Program Excellence, SHE and Communication functions
- Monthly review of rate absorption and monitor risks/opportunities to rates and functional budgets
- Collaboration with Government Compliance to support DCAA audits
- Streamline and/or automate reporting and processes for efficient, repeatable reporting
- Present/communicate rate performance, functional performance, etc to leadership to help drive strategic decisions
- Ad hoc reporting as needed
- Role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree/equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Oracle, Hyperion, SmartView, EMS, Midas Power BI
- Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience in finance functional disciplines
- Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
- Understanding of Government Regulations: Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
