Job Description:
**Must have Quality RN Experience** Provide support to the Clinical ImprovementDepartment in the collection, abstraction, analysis, and reporting of clinicaland credentialing data. Provides ongoing support in continuous compliance withMedicare Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission Accreditation Standards,and other regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities: Day-to-day work is focused on the followingareas from which performance is based:
- Abstract, ccurately input, and analyze health care data input for the Core Measures, credentialing and other items for the Clinical Improvement Department as requested or assigned. Accurately, prepare reports for internal review of performance measures.
- Access electronic patient information and discern data to satisfy specific criteria in a timely manner prior to CMS deadline and according to pre-determined specifications (validity rate greater than 90%).
- Based upon CMS specifications, analyze the data for appropriate measure sets as requested.
- Accurately enter analyzed data into the appropriate spreadsheets and reporting mechanisms as requested.
- Prepare nd submit patient data reports for presentations to hospital committees s requested.
- Review new data to determine if the recommendations are effective; professionally communicate outcomes as requested.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of upcoming quality measures, by attending educational programs and reviewing appropriate resources as requested.
- Prepares reports and graphs of the analyzed data for Clinical Improvement Department.
- Responsible for data collection and internal reporting of additional patient indicators, ongoing physician professional performance, and other hospital quality initiatives.
- Collect data by accessing patient information system or by collaborating with necessary departments.
- Discern data to satisfy specific criteria in a timely manner.
- Enter nalyzed data into the appropriate report.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors degree in business or related clinical field withtwo (2) years of related experience.
OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
