Job description
We are looking for applicants to fill one URA position during the spring of 2024. The URA will be hired by faculty to assist in the development of second-life battery systems. The starting and end dates are negotiable, and the employment may be renewed depending on the project progress and work performance.
100% - The URA is expected to contribute in many ways to the projects. Typical responsibilities include the following:
Evaluation of the following requirements will be made through descriptions of work and development experience, educational experiences in cover letter; record of relevant accomplishments and productivity addressed in a resume; and overall GPA and letter grade obtained. The required qualifications are:
1. Enrolled in engineering programs
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Satisfactory academic performance
4. Passion for design projects
**During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).**
Enrolled in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering programs
