Diesel Mechanic

Shift & Pay

• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am
• Weekend Shift (Day Shift): Options include 6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, or 8am-4:30pm from Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday.
• $28-33/hr based on experience

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical skills in repairing and servicing a variety of ground support vehicles such as tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of heavy equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery. You will conduct thorough inspections of ground support vehicles and equipment to determine the necessity for repairs, troubleshoot any issues, and schedule periodic maintenance.

Skills

• Prior experience working on Diesel equipment
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairing vehicles and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to interpret and apply repair manuals for a variety of vehicles and equipment.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills.
• Work well in team environments

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior Diesel Mechanic experience
• Must be able to work for prolonged periods on vehicles and equipment.
• Physical ability to access vehicles and equipment by kneeling or lying on back is necessary.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time is required.
