Travel Registered Nurse or Local Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology in York, PA.

• $2150 per week, Net take home. Paid Weekly.

• 13-week contract
• Nightshift (7pm-7am)

RN Oncology Job Description –

Provides direct nursing care for specified patients, including appropriate supportive care and
administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and
other oncology treatments as prescribed. Performs nursing assessments and triage of patient
care needs for new and ongoing patients.

As an oncology nurse, you may be responsible for:

• Assessing and developing a personalized plan of care for each patient
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by the doctor, medical oncologist,
  and other health care professionals.
• Observing, recording, and reporting changes in your patient’s condition to doctors and
  other health care providers
• Providing patients with information about their disease, treatment plan, medications,
  home care needs, follow-up appointments, and referrals to community resources
• Working with patients’ families to ensure they are educated about their loved one’s
  disease and treatment.
• Providing emotional support for patients, families, and caregivers
• Encouraging patients to express concerns or feelings related to their cancer diagnosis
  without fear of judgement.

Education Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse
• 4- Year bachelor’s degree
• Required Oncology Certifications or coursework.
