Job Summary:
Wesley Medical Center is assisting with the recruitment of a fellowship trained trauma surgeon for coverage of their level 1 trauma center.
Qualified Candidates: - Available full-time for 10-14 shifts/month
- Board eligible or board certified in general surgery and critical care
- Physicians with critical care fellowship training preferred
- Option for general surgery resident teaching
- Join group of three dedicated trauma surgeons and six general surgeons, taking trauma call
- Dedicated Physician Assistant service for trauma
Incentive/Benefits Package: - Receive 100% of trauma shift pay + percentage of receipts
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Ability to participate in insurance plans provided by group
- Partnership option after two years
