Job Description: Manufacturing Assistant

SLO Sail and Canvas is looking for a new team member with diverse skills and experience, including knowledge of fabrication, sewing, and administrative work.

COMPETITIVE APPLICANTS WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO(or aptitude to learn how to):

• Build component parts for production.
• Safely operate industrial sewing machines, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Use proficient math skills for measurement, design, and build phases of projects.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for business operation plus communication with coworkers and clients.
• Use AutoCAD or SolidWorks drafting software for project design – preferred, not required).

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW HIRE:

• Reliable transportation and valid California Drivers License.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Occasional out-of-town travel.
• Ability to lift 50lb.

• Competitive starting hourly wage--$16-20/hr DOE
