(Java) Lead Full Stack Software Developer

100% Remote Qtrly 23 meetings in MD
(Recent Health insurance client exp is MUST)
Comfortable traveling with own expenses to the office every 23x per QTR to Canton or Owings Mills MD
Required Skills
Education Level: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science OR in lieu of a Bachelors degree an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
8 years of Software Development experience with the last 2 years as a Team Lead.
Required Technology Stack: Java Spring Boot Angular (most recent version is preferred one version below is okay) Postgres DB basic Microsoft Azure knowledge some architecture knowledge. (50/50 Frontend vs. Backend activities)
Must be a handson Lead Software Developer (50% hands on / 50% team lead)
Specific PBM (Pharmacy Benefits MGT) experience is highly preferred. Coming from Healthcare insurance background is highly preferred. CVS Care market is highly preferred.
Scalability is very important! Ability to describe prior scalability products/projects is critically important to this applciation
Works closely with Architects Product Owners Scrum Masters and Value Stream Managers to provide insight into delivering business value and meeting objectives.
Decomposes functional and technical requirements into project activities and tasks and provides conceptual design prototype and test cycles appropriate to a chosen technical solution.
Identifies technical risks and develops mitigation strategies; introduces and recommends industry best practices and standards for the project.
Evaluates and assists in the selection and procurement of hardware and software technologies and serves as a mentor for junior developers.
Works with stakeholders as well as technical and analytical counterparts to define constraints and develop requirements and concept of operations documentation.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
