Job description
As a Recruiting Coordinator for Aegis Living, your role will be vital in supporting the company’s growth and maintaining its employee-focused culture. Your responsibilities span various aspects of the recruiting process and employee relations, emphasizing the importance of effective communication, strategic thinking, and a keen understanding of HR practices and laws.
What You Will Do:
- Manage the interview scheduling process, including coordinating travel arrangements if necessary. Ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates.
- Oversee the job posting and advertisement processes. Ensure job descriptions are clear, engaging, and reach the right audience through various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Promote and manage the employee referral program. Regularly communicate with staff about the program and work closely with the HR team to track referrals and ensure proper acknowledgment and rewards.
- Provide metrics and reporting for the recruiting team. Use data analytics to understand recruitment trends, identify successful sources of candidates, and improve recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, universities, and organizations.
- Actively coordinate and participate in college job fairs and other recruiting events. Develop a calendar for these events and strategize on how to maximize their potential for attracting top talent.
- Assist recruiters with screening applications to select qualified candidates when needed. Develop a checklist or criteria for screening to ensure consistency and fairness in the selection process.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Experience in working in a team environment with identified metrics and goals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems (Experience using iCIMS a plus!)
- This position requires the candidate to work in-person in Bellevue, WA daily.
