Job Opening: Executive Operations Manager
Location: Valencia, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Duties:
- Direct and manage the day-to-day activities of Jaco’s operations.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Evaluate and enhance current operational processes, procedures, and systems.
- Monitor actual results against operational goals and develop reporting to analyze operational effectiveness.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues customer or vendor issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
- Responsible for effective record keeping, filing and other administrative duties as required.
- Able to read, understand and review legal documents, customer specifications, quality clauses and quality requirements.
- Responsible for overseeing management of other departments to improve process, performance, and efficiency to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for conducting performance reviews and disciplinary functions.
- Responsible for maintenance, and continuous improvement training of Jaco’s AS9120 Quality Management System.
- Work with outside contractors and consultants to assist with management of ongoing initiatives such as Salesforce Development, Data Management and or inventory logistics specialists etc.
- Teach, coach, and demonstrate work activities for team members.
- Accountable for ensuring that all team members receive required instruction in safety procedures, and Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work and oversee the development of staff competence. Manage employee morale and improve retention.
Requirements:
- Preferred: 1+ year experience with a distributor that is certified (registered) to a QMS.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Aerospace sourcing and distribution.
- Aerospace, Space or Aviation industry experience and knowledge.
- 1+ year experience formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- 1+ year experience using (reading and understanding) AS9120 and/or AS9100
- At least one year of experience implementing and executing new and/or revised QMS documents.
- 1+ year experience in root cause analysis completing, implementing, and executing corrective actions.
- Possess advanced computer skills and experience with software such as Salesforce, Excel and other platforms.
- Enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with peers .
Compensation: $190,000-$220,000 plus excellent benefits and incentive commission
