Position summary: Job Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Inside Parts Sales Representative to join our Parts Department team in Lake Charles, LA. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday.
Responds to Customer requests for all parts sales. Responsibilities: While responsibilities may vary, the following are general requirements, responsibilities and experience that may or may not be required of a particular employee in this position.
Essential Qualities & Requirements - Industry Expertise: Must have a thorough understanding of heavy-duty trucks. Previous experience with heavy-duty fleets is highly desirable.
- Technical Acumen: Mechanical background is a strong plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills are essential. Ability to quickly build and maintain customer trust.
- Numerical Proficiency: Strong mathematical abilities required as numbers are a significant part of the role.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient computer skills are non-negotiable as 90% of parts sales operations are executed via our computer system.
Job Responsibilities - Customer service and inside parts sales
- Handling parts inquiries and transactions
- Inventory management and reporting
- Efficiently navigate our computerized inventory system
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities
Experience & Education - At least one year of customer service experience required.
- Prior experience in a heavy-duty parts department is highly preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Licenses Class E Driver's License (Preferred)

Experience and/or Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); None This position is an indoor administrative position with a computer work station accounting for approximately 80-90% of the work day. Exposure to outdoor conditions will be encountered for 10-20% of this incumbents workday as they are intaking and processing the parts for delivery.
