Job description
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Inspector near Round Lake, IL.
Position Overview:

As a QC Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our biologics and drugs throughout the manufacturing process. From conducting critical analyses to driving efficiency through LEAN management principles, you will be at the forefront of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities:
As a QC Inspector, you will:
Perform biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products at all stages of the manufacturing process.
Utilize sophisticated laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, FTIR, UV, and GC, to collect and record data.
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Participate in cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and quality.
Conduct laboratory and manufacturing audits as required.
Document testing completion accurately and maintain quality records.
Investigate deviations and contribute to the development of solutions.
Support improvement projects and drive efficiency through LEAN management principles.
Communicate effectively with peers and management to ensure awareness of progress and issues.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field with 0-2 years of experience.
Knowledge of Empower CDS and LIMS preferred but not required.
Familiarity with GLP, cGMP requirements, and USP/ICH guidelines preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
Occasional weekend work may be necessary.
