Job description
Oracle DBA Local Columbia, SC candidates only. SYSTEMTEC is assisting our client in filling an Oracle Database Administrator for a Direct Hire position in the Columbia, SC area. This position will require onsite work in Columbia.
Required Qualifications of the Oracle DBA :
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Candidates are required to be ONSITE 3-4 days/week in Columbia/Lexington, SC area.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Hands-on experience with Exadata.
- DataGuard and/or GoldenGate highly preferred.
Responsibilities of the Oracle DBA :
- Day to day monitoring of the organization s database using OEM and TOAD.
- Design, install, monitor, tune, and maintain all production databases to ensure a high level of data availability and to maximize database uptime.
- Ensure that proper backup and disaster recovery techniques are in place and provides consultation on complex projects.
- Work closely in collaboration with database and application teams on high-profile projects.
Work Location: Mostly ONSITE IN COLUMBIA, SC.
