This position will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and dismantling industrial machinery and equipment. The candidate will have a heavy mechanical background and be familiar with the setting, leveling, and aligning of pumps and fans. • Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Background in industry computer training.
• Welding Certificate.
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dismantle equipment for repair or transportation and reassembly.
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts for safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Repair, modify, and overhaul all mechanical equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, gear-driven, and machine tools.
• Maintain a wide variety of specialized equipment such as die cutters, corrugators, etc.
• Machine, braze, weld, and solder parts as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings.
• Install and commission new equipment.
