Job description
Position:
Northeast Regional Mobilizer (VA, WV, PA, DE, MD, NY, VT, NH, ME, CT, MA, RI, NJ)
Regional Mobilizers will research, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategy to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates for the organization in needed roles for overseas and within the US.
FSLA Overtime Classification: Exempt
Job Responsibilities:
● Promotes the AIM mission, vision, and values within an assigned region by the Mobilization Coordinator and Candidate Director
● Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the mobilization process
● Organizes and directs the work of the Associate Mobilizer(s) in accordance with the mobilization strategy set by the Mobilization Coordinator
● Works to establish new candidates and leads within the region
● Screens Interest Forms & other inquiries and pursues qualified candidates
● Coaches candidates through the steps of the application process
● Coordinates administrative logistics related to travel and meetings with candidates and various individuals
● Connects with candidates’ pastors in establishing partnerships with AIM
● Schedules and conducts interviews of candidates
● Communicates relevant candidate information to the Mobilization Coordinator and Candidate Department
● Organizes, attends, and participates in strategic recruiting and networking opportunities
● Works to establish AIM influencers in the region
● Assists with the coordination of efforts for other regions and Mobilizers, as needed
● Attends events as requested at the Home Office in Georgia
● Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
· Resides within the set parameters for the assigned region
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to create and implement strategies for recruitment of a variety of roles.
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
· Willingness and ability to speak in small and large group settings regarding AIM and related missions topics
· Organized with attention to detail.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or field experience
· Thorough knowledge of region, AIM, and cross-cultural ministry
· Outside mobilization or recruitment experience
Physical Requirements:
· Travel is expected an average of 5 nights per month (could include weekends, holidays and/or international travel)
· Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
· Must be able to transport mobilization materials
