Job description
Medical Records Clerk
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Hourly pay is $16.50 – 19.00 per hour. DOE
Will be working with highly sensitive information so understanding the importance of HIPAA and record retention requirements is a must and experience is required.
Data entry skills, accuracy in working with spreadsheets and extremely good organizational skills is critical.
Experience and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year experience working with sensitive information, previous medical records experience preferred.
Experience in Healthcare Administrative and/or Healthcare clerical experience
Experience in Health Information Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical regulations
Ability to work independently.
